ZDK Assembly Adopted the Budget Rebalance and the Budget for 2024

The Assembly of Zenica-Doboj Canton adopted by expedited procedure the Proposal for the budget rebalance for the current year and the Proposal for the budget for 2024 in the amount of 594,874,450 KM, which represents a record budget for this Canton.

In addition to the budget, the Assembly also adopted two remaining financial documents essential for the functioning of cantonal institutions – the Financial Plan of the ZDK Health Insurance Institute in the amount of 280,000,000 KM and the Financial Plan of the ZDK Public Employment Service for 2024 in the amount of 27,585,532 KM.

The adoption of these documents has created the prerequisites for the uninterrupted functioning of cantonal institutions in the coming year, with the expectation that the Canton's economy, on which the filling of the budget primarily depends, will continue to grow and develop for the benefit of all citizens of Zenica-Doboj Canton.
