Adrenaline Park for Children and Zipline Ceremonially Opened at the Jedinci Mountain Lodge

Members of the mountaineering and sports club "Poštar" Zenica organised the ceremonial opening of an adrenaline park for children and a zipline near the "Jedinci" mountain lodge on Mount Hum, Kakanj municipality. It took only a few months to go from concept to completion of this project, which enriches the recreational offerings for children and young people at this scenic location.

The project was realised thanks to the support of the Zenica-Doboj Canton Government, specifically the Ministry of Economy, which approved funding of 20,000.00 KM. The construction was carried out by the renowned company Scorpio d.o.o. Zenica, specialising in the construction of adrenaline parks and zipline facilities. The new park features a small zipline for children and a large zipline spanning 123 metres.

The ceremonial opening was performed by ZDK Minister of Economy Samir Sibonjic, together with the Director of the ZDK Tourist Board Jasmin Šarić, the Director of Pošta Centre Zenica Mahira Brkić, and contractor representative and BiH mountaineering legend Edin Durmo. The ceremony was also attended by representatives of the Turkish peacekeeping military mission in BiH, as well as Sead Rakić, former commander of an ARBiH special unit, and his associates. Such amenities significantly enhance the tourist offer in the Kakanj municipality and the Zenica-Doboj Canton.
