Best Private University in the Region Acquires State-of-the-Art High-Precision CNC Machine

Minister of Economy of the Zenica-Doboj Canton Samir Sibonjic visited the International University of Sarajevo (IUS) on the occasion of the acquisition of a high-precision CNC machine with a deviation rate of only 5 per mille, opening a new field in engineering and production for Bosnia and Herzegovina. Students of this university will henceforth be able to undertake internships and acquire skills on one of the most advanced machines of its kind.

Minister Sibonjic highlighted that IUS and the Zenica-Doboj Canton have much in common, as IUS was recently named the best private university in the region, while the Canton has demonstrated that it is among the leaders in the region regarding foreign investments based on modern technologies and high productivity.

The acquisition of this high-precision CNC machine represents a significant investment that will improve the quality of education and strengthen cooperation between academia and industry, with the Minister expressing gratitude to the University for its proactive approach in line with the vision of technological development in the interest of all of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
